This two-day course is designed for the person responsible for establishing
a virtual Web-based meeting and document workspaces to enable information
sharing between project team or department members; or for administering,
maintaining, and extending the functionality of a team Web site.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Establish a workspace; manage the default components of a workspace. Create
a custom Web site; import and export web parts; troubleshoot web part
connections and pages. Modify the appearance of a Windows SharePoint Services
Web site; apply a theme; change regional settings; manage galleries; configure
HTML viewer. Use MS: FrontPage 2003 to modify Web components; add a border;
apply a theme; edit views. Monitor and manage site usage; configure usage
analysis processing; interpret site usage summary data; export site usage
data to a spreadsheet; view storage space allocation; set site collection
quotas and locks; create a quota template; configure user alerts. Administer
a Windows SharePoint Services Web site; manage site collection owners;
configure full-text search; manage blocked file types; configure antivirus
settings. Configure Windows SharePoint Services connections. Administer
a Windows SharePoint Services installation.
Class targeted to:
* Persons with MS Office experience, who are responsible for administering
