FrontPage 2003: Advanced

Learning Outcomes:

  • Successfully create an animated entry page to a web site by inserting a FrontPage web component utilizing instructions in the Lesson Lab.

  • Use frames and Web components to display and repurpose existing content successfully according to information provided in the Lesson Lab.

  • Given instructions, correctly insert Redirect Meta Tags without error.

  • Successfully add elements and components according to instructions in the exercise, making it easier for co-workers and visitors to locate information.

  • Utilizing information provided, correctly create a Table of Contents.

FrontPage 2003: Advanced (Windows)

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

Create, save, and distribute a FrontPage page template. Create an animated entry page to a web site by inserting a FrontPage Web component. Use frames and Web components to display and repurpose existing content. Insert Redirect Meta Tags. Add banner content. Show data in a bar chart. Acquire data using a form and display database data on a page. Make a web more useful by adding elements and components that will make it easier for co-workers and visitors to locate information. Prevent open files from being overwritten. Use the Review Status Workflow Report. Manage and secure your webs.

Class targeted to:

Students wishing to learn more about Web Page design enhancements, laying out a page with Frames, working with forms and task management issues.

Prerequisites:

Windows knowledge; Word processing experience; Web browser experience; and FrontPage 2003, Introduction. It is also recommended, but not required, to have taken HTML 4.01: Web Authoring and Access 2003: Level 1 or have equivalent knowledge.
