Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Preparation

A five-session interactive course that provides you with the knowledge needed to perform adequately as a member of a Six Sigma Green Belt team. You will study and be tested on nine major areas of knowledge adapted from the American Society for Quality's Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge.

· Six Sigma Methodology - Measure
· Six Sigma Methodology - Analyze
· Six Sigma Methodology - Improve
· Six Sigma Methodology - Control
· Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma

Class targeted to:

· Future members of a Six Sigma Green Belt team, or
· Quality and process improvement professionals

Prerequisites:

· Being selected for a Six Sigma Green Belt team, or
· Having worked in quality management and/or process improvement projects

Requirements for Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - All three requirements must be fulfilled to earn the certification:

1. Perfect attendance
2. A passing grade in a standard test based on course materials and lectures
3. Approval of one project affidavit signed by the project champion, as demonstration of experience

Standard Test
Will cover all nine major areas of knowledge, testing for level of comprehension needed for the Green Belt role. The format of the test is multiple options.

Project Affidavit Format
· Candidate name and contact information
· Six Sigma project name
· Project start and completion dates
· Description of project purpose and relevance to business objectives
· Candidate's participation and performance during project execution
· Benefits achieved as a result of the six sigma project
· Project champion signature, date and contact information
