| Crystal Reports 2008 Level 2 Learning Outcomes:
This two-day class will demonstrate the advanced functionality of Crystal Reports to generate reports in the format you desire. You will create complex reports and data sources using Crystals’ tools and create more sophisticated reports including subreports and cross-tabs. You will also increase the speed and efficiency of your reports by using SQL queries.
Crystal Reports 2008 Level 2 Upon successful completion of this class you will be able to: Create and modify running total fields and create a manual running total. Create and format a cross-tab report and create groups in cross-tab reports. Insert and edit a subreport and share variables. Create a drill-down and then create headings for drill-down data. Create a report using SQL Queries, summarize report data, create joins using SQL, create subqueries, and create an SQL expression field. Work with Loops and Arrays. Create charts: a chart with a drill-down, a Top N Chart, a cross-tab chart and a chart template. Format a chart. Organize data based on a hierarchy, create a dynamic image, create a report alert and create a geographic map. Class targeted to: Those who need to create reports that include subreports, cross-tabs, complex formulas, and charts based on more than one data series; or who need to build tools to make it easier for other people to create reports. Prerequisites: Windows knowledge and Crystal Reports 2008: Level 1. Knowledge of programming and SQL would be helpful.
