This two-day class will provide the opportunity to create more sophisticated reports like subreports and crosstabs. You will learn how to increase the speed and efficiency of your reports by using SQL queries and dictionaries. • Creating Running Totals Crystal Reports 11: Level II Upon successful completion of this class you will be able to: Create and modify running totals in a report on detail and summary data. Create a cross-tab. Filter a crosstab by group. Conditionally Format rows and columns, keep groups together. Insert and edit a subreport. Link a subreport to data in a primary report. Format a subreport using the format editor. Share formulas between main and subreports. Create an on-demand subreport. Creat a drill-down and add separate headings for drill-down data. Create a report using SQL queries. Create joins and subqueries using SQL. Summarize report data using SQL aggregate functions. Create an SQL expression field to promote server-side processing. Create, modify, and format bar charts. Create a chart template. Create and modify a report based on Excel data. Implement report prompts and enhance report functionality. Class targeted to: Those who need to create reports that include subreports, cross-tabs, advanced formulas, and charts based on more than one data series; or who need to build tools to make it easier for other people to create reports. Prerequisites: Windows knowledge and Crystal Reports 11: Level 1. Knowledge of programming and SQL would be helpful.
