PowerPoint: Using Multimedia in Your Presentations (Full Day)

Learning Outcomes:

  • Successfully insert a digital photo as a slide’s background according to instructions in the exercise.

  • Given a set of instructions, accurately create a watermark from a photo and use the watermark as a slide background.

  • Using information in the Lesson Lab, correctly select an AutoShape and fill it with a picture.

  • Effectively install and create a Custom Soundtrack to accompany the presentation.

  • Given instructions, transform one image into another by creating a “morphing” effect without error.

In this fast moving workshop students will learn to apply multimedia techniques to a PowerPoint presentation, creating a show that has multi-sensory appeal.

PowerPoint: Using Multimedia in Your Presentations – Full Day

This lab will provide the students with more advanced techniques involving Multimedia. This will include using a digital camera and adding photos to your presentation. Students will insert a digital photo as a slide’s background. They also will create a watermark from a photo and use the watermark as a slide background. Students will select an autoshape and fill it with a picture. Install and create a Custom Soundtrack to accompany a presentation. Students will also insert videos into a presentation. Learn how to transform one image into another by creating a "morphing" effect. There will also be many tips and tricks shared by the instructor throughout the class.

Students desiring to learn how to further enhance their presentation skills.

Prerequisite:
