Learning Outcomes:

  • Effectively create and use templates and forms as directed in the Lesson Lab.

  • Given directions, successfully manage long documents by adding an index, bookmarks, cross-references, and odd and headers and footers, and by adjusting margins for document binding.

  • Correctly run, record, and edit a Macro utilizing the set of instructions provided.

  • Create a master document and compile a table of contents using a set of criteria and without any meaningful errors.

  • Efficiently edit an HTML page in Word, insert scrolling text and place a movie clip in a web page as instructed during the Activity Lab.

Students will gain the skills needed to create, manage, revise, and distribute long documents, forms, and Web pages. This is part of Microsoft Office Specialist Program.

Create a Master Document and compile a Table of Contents. Learn to make long documents easier to use. Secure documents and document information in a variety of manners. Create Document Versions and track changes to a Document. Edit an HTML Page in Word, insert Scrolling Text and place a Movie Clip in a Web Page.

Class targeted to:

An advanced level of student who desires to work more efficiently and to enhance their existing documents.

Prerequisites:
