* High Availability services with Novell Cluster Services

Novell Advanced Network Management

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: Word with Advanced Novell Network Management systems as above: NetWare 6 (Course 3005) provides students with advanced management and troubleshooting knowledge pertaining to a NetWare 6 network and its components using the web services, tools and utilities that ship with NetWare 6. Adding, editing, deleting Objects in a directory. Assigning rights and managing user information in a directory. Managing traditional volumes and network storage. Managing email and Instant Messaging Services on a network. Managing and distributing workstation applications. Managing Enterprise user desktops. Managing printers and troubleshooting printers. Experience with the following NetWare networking tasks gained either through job experience or attendance of Foundations of Novell Networking (Course 3001) and Novell Network Management (Course 3004): Troubleshooting basic NetWare and Novell Client problems.
Building a TCP/IP Network using NetWare. Managing and optimizing NetWare 6 Servers. Implementing and troubleshooting external security measures. Managing eDirectory upgrades, object moves and schema extensions. Managing and troubleshooting Novell Licensing Services. Setting UP and configuring NSS Adding a NetWare 6 Server to an eDirectory tree.
