Using a publication design provided, create, modify, save, and print a document in time allotted. Correctly insert and modify graphic elements on a page, given instructions. Given a set of instructions, successfully add and modify rows, columns, text, and formatting in a table to display data on a page. Create a logo using drawing tools without error as demonstrated in the exercise.

Successfully utilize tools such as WordArt and Design Gallery Objects as shown in class.
This one-day class will introduce you to an easy to use, flexible program
for creating newsletters, brochures, business cards, postcards, flyers,
and other items for print, email, and the Web.

Publisher 2003: Introduction
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:Create, modify, save, and print a one page document using a publication design. Modify a publication's layout and structure. Format text by adding tabs, indents, special characters, and automated formatting. Insert and modify graphic elements on a page. Add and modify rows, columns, text, and formatting in a table to display data on a page. Format pictures and picture frames; WordArt and Design Gallery Objects. Identify the options for distributing a publications.
Class targeted to: Students wanting to create professional quality publications.
Prerequisites: Must have Windows and Word knowledge and some graphics design ability would be helpful but not necessary.
