Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: Install and configure administrative tools, create an organizational unit, move domain objects. Manage computer and user accounts. Create and modify groups and group memberships. Share folders, set NTFS permissions on Files and Folders, determine effective NTFS permissions, make files available offline. Install printers, modify access permissions and install printer drivers. Change the location of the print spooler, set printer priorities, schedule availability, configure a printing pool. Set permissions on Active Directory Objects, delegate OU control. Edit local computer policy settings, implement group policy in a domain, manage group policy deployment. Deploy scripts, redirect folders, analyze group policy settings. Assign user rights, implement security templates, analyze computer security, implement auditing and manage security logs.

Class targeted to:

* An entry-level systems administrator with basic Desktop and network support skills or who is preparing for the MS: Certification exam 70-290.

Prerequisites:
