This one day workshop is designed to increase awareness of warning signs for potential disruptive behavior and provide participants with appropriate strategies to minimize risk and work through issues.

• Tactics you can use to de-escalate the potential risk.
• Common reactions after an incident and how to deal with them effectively.

Recognizing Potential Risk for Employees

Every employee is responsible for observing and reporting any workplace situation which may contribute to the occurrence of violence. During this one day session each participant will learn how to:

• Recognize a variety of warning signs.
• Identify and deal with potentially violent or difficult situations.
• Identify potentially violent situations.
• Report any potential risks.
• Minimize impact of workplace violence and develop coping strategies.
• Identify and take appropriate safety and security precautions.
