  • Utilizing instructions in the Activity Lab effectively execute a Mail Merge utilizing Publisher 2013.
  • Accurately create an interactive form based on the Activity Lab guidelines.

This one-day class will introduce you to an easy to use, flexible program for creating newsletters, brochures, business cards, postcards, flyers, and other items for print, email, and the Web.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Create a business information set, change the color scheme, create tint swatches and a gradient. Add an item to the content library. Link or replace a picture. Create and apply a style, override and modify a style, change the font scheme. Insert WordArt, create a type mask with WordArt, wrap text based on image contours. Snap text to a baseline guide and distribute text horizontally. Insert symbols and special characters. Format section page numbers, add or delete bookmarks. Learn the mail merge operation, sorting and filtering recipients, adding mail merge fields to a publication. Convert a print publication to a Web publication, insert text input fields, create a list box, insert checkboxes and option buttons. Send form data via e-mail. Check for basic Web site errors, add alternative text to a picture. Create a hyperlink, insert a navigation bar and publish a Web site.

Class targeted to: Students needing more advanced design information.

Prerequisites: Windows and Publisher 2013 Introduction.
