  • Define techniques you can use on a daily basis to demonstrate your personal brand in the workplace.
  • Create your own, personalized mission/vision statement in support of your brand.
  • Using role plays effectively demonstrate how your personal brand can have impact and influence in your personal life and workplace.

This course is a one-day exploration about the type of impact we want to have in life and work. Participants will consider and define the influence that they can have on their life and work. They will also learn skills for success and how to create those circumstances.

Personal Branding

Companies brand themselves to create an image, a recognizable spark that encourages their target customers to connect with them, remember them, and do business with them. We create a personal image for the same reason; to build a brand centered on ourselves that leads people to think of us.

Having a personal impact can mean that you are influencing, leading, and leaving a lasting impression. Have you thought about the impact you can be having when you do things? What do you want people to think of when you network with them, sell to them, consult or help them, or when you come to them looking for business, a job, or whatever it is that you need? What is it you do that makes you, or your work, stand out in other people’s minds?  Whatever the stand-out factor is, it becomes part of your personal brand.

Class targeted to:  Students wanting to learn the how to manage their emotional intelligence to their benefit.

Prerequisites:  None

CEU:  Upon successful participation in class and completion of all assigned exercises,   participants may receive up to .7 CEUs for this class.
