Agile Project Management Introduction

Upon completing this course, students will have a good understanding of the Agile Methodology, Principles and Values.  Agile management or agile project management is an iterative method of determining requirements for engineering and information technology development projects in a highly flexible and interactive manner.  Agile techniques are best used in small-scale projects or on elements of a wider program of work, or on projects that are too complex for the customer to understand and specify before testing prototypes. The student will Identify Roles & Responsibilities in Scrum and implement the Scrum process.  Learn best practices to manage Scrum, estimate a project and track Scrum projects.  Learn the risks and myths about Agile.  Study the challenges and benefits of Agile. 

Class targeted to:  Intended for Project Managers, Program Managers, or anyone who wants to efficiently manage projects that experience frequent changes in user requirements 

Prerequisites:  A good understanding or work background in project management.

 CEU’s: Upon successful participation in class and completion of all assigned exercises,   participants may receive up to .7 CEUs for this class.
